Chechen house 2 - part five

This is the fifth and final part of my attempt to turn a HO scale railway building into a useful bit of 15mm wargaming terrain. Here are parts one, two, three and four.

For once, I don't have much to write. The last stage was just to add some more weathering and fire damage to the building. The colours were black, raw umber, burnt umber, mid-grey and dark grey, and the techniques were a mixture of washes and drybrushing.

Here are some shots of the interior. My apologies for the shoddy pictures. The UK winter was long and my phone camera performs badly under poor light.

I weathered the roof flashing and walls, then added some flock to the base. Here are some shots of the exterior:

  1. These really do look great: it'll be something to see all the finished buildings on a table together. Also thanks for your prior response to my questions. I should get my own buildings finished shortly and will get some pictures up.

  3. Stunning- if only my 20mm versions came out half as good as that.

    Cheers,

    Pete.
